KPI Depot MCP Server

What It Does

This is a remote Model Context Protocol server for kpidepot.com. Once connected, your AI assistant can search our KPI library, pull full KPI definitions with formulas and guidance, and retrieve industry benchmark data, all inside the conversation.

The Three Tools

Tool	What It Returns
Search KPIs search_kpis	Up to 10 matching KPIs by keyword, with optional corporate function and industry filters. Each result includes a one-line definition, benchmark count, and page URL.
Get KPI Details get_kpi	Full intelligence for one KPI: definition, standard formula, common pitfalls, improvement levers, related KPIs, KPI groups, and benchmark metadata.
Get KPI Benchmarks get_benchmarks	Benchmark data for one KPI. What you see depends on your access tier (below). Every response includes a citation URL.

All three tools are read-only.

A free account takes one minute to create, right inside the connection flow. Full source-attributed data comes with any KPI Depot subscription.

Connect From Claude

1. In claude.ai or Claude Desktop, open Settings → Connectors → Add Custom Connector.
2. Enter the server URL: https://kpidepot.com/mcp
3. The connector works immediately for KPI search and definitions. When you ask for benchmark values, Claude will prompt you to sign in or create a free KPI Depot account.

Once KPI Depot is listed in the Claude connectors directory, you will also be able to add it in one click from the directory.

Connect From Other MCP Clients

• Endpoint: https://kpidepot.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, JSON responses)
• OAuth 2.1: supported with PKCE and dynamic client registration; discovery via /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource
• API key: register for a free key at kpidepot.com/mcp/register and send it as Authorization: Bearer <key>. Subscribers can generate a key in their account area.

Fair Use

Reasonable per-minute and per-day request limits apply to keep the service fast for everyone; normal interactive use will never hit them. Benchmark data is provided for your analysis and decision-making. When you publish or share it, please cite KPI Depot using the citation URL included in every benchmark response.
